A circus open to life
Upsala-Circus is a circus open to life: for more than 25 years we’ve been creating opportunities for people to unleash their creative potential through contemporary circus. Since 2018 we’ve been based in Zeitz, Saxony-Anhalt, and today we bring together more than 120 young artists aged 3 to 18 — regardless of background or ability. Every year, every group’s work culminates in a shared creative outcome — an act, a performance, a concert program, a festival, or a show.

We are looking for partners to create a unique project together — partners who support inclusion in its broadest sense and are interested in promoting active living and a culture of family values.
We also run team-building programmes for companies and teams. Circus is an excellent tool for it: it asks a group for trust, timing and a little courage, and gives back an experience people remember.
