Our projects
We are making the circus that is available for everyone, regardless of their age, gender, professional background, physical or mental needs or previous experience..
METHOD
All our work is based on the method of Upsala-Circus, a unique set or instruments, principles and values that was created and developed by us and help us connect with people and set up our work processes. We combine circus pedagogy and contemporary circus and art. It’s Method is what unites all our products and defines our team culture. According to the method the outcome of our activity is always some creative project: concert program, festival, performance, play etc.

We move away from the concept of circus performances as a form of light entertainment and create performances on complex and ambiguous topics that are relevant to the here and now.

We aim for the positive changes in urban environment, cultural and social infrastructure through joint collaboration and creative interaction between local communities and circus. Circus unites people and gives them the opportunity for creative self-expression, contributing to a more resilient communities.
