EMIGRATION AFFECTS EVERYONE
If you are an emigrant, or you stayed in your country and someone important left, or you live in a country where there are many immigrants.
Tell us your story, how emigration has affected you.
All stories will remain anonymous forever.
We create opportunities for people to unleash their creative potential. We firmly believe that people become happier when they are free to express themselves.
In 24 years we have developed into an international project that promotes contemporary circus, runs projects for children and young people and creates environments for more sustainable and creative communities.
Since 2018 we create

We believe in freedom and happiness.
We believe that culture and education are the instruments to find solution to the social issues.
We also believe that the circus is one of the things that can help save the world.

METHOD
All our work is based on the method of Upsala-Circus, a unique set or instruments, principles and values that was created and developed by us and help us connect with people and set up our work processes. We combine circus pedagogy and contemporary circus and art. It’s Method is what unites all our products and defines our team culture. According to the method the outcome of our activity is always some creative project: concert program, festival, performance, play etc.
Circus For Rebels
Projects and programmes for children and teenagers from different backgrounds.
Today Upsala-Circus creates for and with 120+ young artists who live in Zeitz and neighbouring cities.

Modern Circus
We move away from the concept of circus performances as a form of light entertainment and create performances on complex and ambiguous topics that are relevant to the here and now.
Circus in the city
We aim for the positive changes in urban environment, cultural and social infrastructure through joint collaboration and creative interaction between local communities and circus. Circus unites people and gives them the opportunity for creative self-expression, contributing to a more resilient communities.
A lot of beauty and inspiration
